Sandpoint Trains

Trains are part of the heritage of Sandpoint and Bonners Ferry.  Multiple times thru out the day you will hear them, be driving side by side with them, or see them in the distance.  All part of the ambience of North Idaho, and especially the Bonners Ferry and Sandpoint areas.  These trains can have 100 cars or more and stretch as far as a mile.  I never tire of seeing them.  The sheer power of these monsters never ceases to amaze me.  Click here to enjoy a moment with a couple.
