North Idaho is no different than the rest of the nation right now, when it comes to selling a home. What ever can be done to enhance the looks of a home, should be done. Of course cost vs result and ROI (return on investment) are always important factors to be examined. Keeping that in mind, feng shui principles are possibly an avenue to pursue. Many of these hints work not only for everyday comfort and appeal, but can be especially attractive to a possible buyer. While not everything will work for everybody, everyone will find something from the Feng Shui tips that they will want to put to use.
Feng Shui Tip #1 – Pay special attention to the front door, which is considered the “mouth of chi” (chi is the ‘life force” of all things) and one of the most powerful aspects of the entire property. Abundance, blessings, opportunities, and good fortune enter through the front door. It’s also the first impression buyers have of how well the sellers have taken care of the rest of the property. Make sure the area around the front door is swept clean, free of cobwebs and clutter. Make sure all lighting is straight and properly hung. Better yet, light the path leading up to the front door to create an inviting atmospere.
