The Kootenai River runs approximately 600 miles beginning and ending in Canada. It loops down thru Montana and Idaho in the process. Bonners Ferry being just one of the cities it includes in its loop. The VIDEO gives a quick look at the river looking east from the Bridge at Bonners Ferry. Shot in early July the rains having subsided on days earlier. Kootenai River Casino the week prior had a sandbagging party to help insure against flooding.
At the time of this video the Kootenai River was considered to be 1 foot over flood stages. With the rains apparently gone for the spring season I thought you might enjoy seeing the KOOTENAI RIVER AT FLOOD STAGES across from Bonners Ferry at the bridge.
