Sandpoint Home Sold – Congratulations Ron, Brandy, Sarah

Sandpoint Home SoldWe started the search, back in September 2017, for their perfect home.  Three full weekends and over 50 homes viewed from Hayden to Naples, Hope to Priest River finally brought us to the point of making an offer on a home off Rapid Lightning in Selle Valley, Sandpoint Idaho.  Getting to the point of ‘Sandpoint Home Sold’ seemed the easy process when looking back. A big Kudos need go to Erik Envik of Realty Plus and Alliance Title.  Once again with everyone working to meet deadlines and maintain a sense of urgency we got to the finish line.  Included with the Kudos I should mention as well, PanHandle Pump that shifted schedules to beat incoming snow storms, in order to complete work that would have other wise been impossible till spring. Sandpoint Home SoldClosing of their Sandpoint Home was but the beginning of the adventure.  Packing of their 20 year residence was still in progress.  Moving plans were constantly modified due to emergency work schedules and storms.  At one point Ron and I crossed each other on I-80 between Sacramento and Truckee without either of us knowing it till talking a bit later.  An emergency trip of my own had taken me to Grass Valley, California and also Reno Nevada. Sandpoint Home SoldI met with Ron when he picked up the toy hauler to move items from Sacramento to Sandpoint, Idaho.  Up to this point weather had been minimal.  As is usually the case,  a hard cold storm was hitting as we pulled into the driveway.  The next day was a hair raising trip. pulling the trailer, down Rapid Lightning to Culburn Culver.  From there Ron made it to decent highways and started a long trip home. While Ron was traveling Brandy and Sarah were packing.  Unexpected harsh storms continued delaying plans for moving.  Finally one more trip up convinced everyone this needed to be a large caravan with virtually everything in one trip.  Weather, again, did not play nice.  One single trip, two U-haul trucks and one toy trailer later they were unloading at the house, with the help of a local mover I will write about later.  Comment from Brandy “He was a Godsend”.  High praise indeed. Sandpoint Home SoldFinally only a week ago they were able to make their last trip up with yet another caravan of final vehicles, toy hauler full and one weary group.  I am so pleased for this family.  Humbled yet again that they bestowed their trust in me from start to finish with something so very important.    I can still see in their faces the disbelief.  They can not believe they are actually living in North Idaho.  Their happiness is flowing. Living in North Idaho…something few of us take for granted but from time to time we are reminded just how fortunate we are to be living, working and playing is such a remarkable area.  I am looking forward to watching them become part of the Sandpoint, and surrounding cities communities.  They will be a good addition. Ironically I asked, a few days back, when was the last time you had run just for the joy of running?  The snow started falling shortly after them arriving at their new Sandpoint Home.  I believe this picture of Indy and Sarah sum it all up perfectly.  (Indy had never seen, much less been in snow before) Sandpoint Home Sold Experience the Difference Living In North Idaho will make.  Contact me as your local North Idaho Real Estate resource.
