Pasture and Barn on Deep Creek Loop in Bonners Ferry Idaho
To travel in North Idaho without a camera is almost a crime, no matter the season or time of day. Deep Creek Loop was old Highway 95 before the new highway was built over Peterson Hill and directly into Bonners Ferry. Heading home from walking Halley, I often take the more peaceful 9 mile stretch of Deep Creek Loop rather than the highway. This image is but one of the many sights that are well worth a second look while taking the scenic route.
Looking west we see an old barn at the edge of a pasture with the hills of the Selkirk Mountains looming up behind. Almost like a spot light the hill’s fall colors are lit with the sun peaking thru cloudy skies.
