International Selkirk Loop Bicycle Ride – WaCanId 2018

With September 3 Labor Day Weekend rapidly approaching North Idaho’s summer events are winding down.  Rodeo’s, music events, fairs, arts and crafts shows, Chafe 150 and Long Bridge swim are but a few of North Idaho summer events.  One of the major events coming September 10th is the International Selkirk Loop Bicycle Ride.  Or WaCanId 2018. While not recommended a beginner think about doing on short notice there is always next year to be thinking about.  WaCanId is a 370 mile bicycle ride around the International Selkirk Loop.  6 days in total with 5 days riding.  Every day presents beautiful sights and new challenges. This year has all the ingredients to be special in many different ways.  Most riders, numbering 150 registration limit.  Most states represented at 28, as of July count.  And new to the venue this year is an option on the first day to complete the WaCanId Century Club.  100 miles ridden single day.
