Communication ! Too Often Overlooked
Thx Mark. Keeping me updated is exactly why I switched to you….much appreciated. These words were written to me shortly after listing a Sandpoint Log Home. This simple statement meant more than the seller could possibly know. When I started Real Estate, lack of communication was stated as the #1 complaint of public towards Realtors. Today it remains in the same position. Communication is not something that just happens. Like any skill set it takes work and practice.
With communication being important I also understand why my clients are hiring me. They want a professional to guide them in either buying or selling their home. With that said I was very pleased to communicate, to the owner of the Sandpoint Log Home, that we had an accepted offer. This came in soon after the seller sent me the above thank you. I am not so foolish to think that communication alone brought the offer. I do however strongly believe its importance is mostly overlooked. As we move forward I will continue communicating the details, of this transaction, and what should be expected. It would be foolish to think that even the most mundane details, to me thru repeated actions, should also be a detail my client is familiar, and comfortable with.
